Hello, as above, a 1400 cc, 55 plate, had it since near new, 90,000 miles, never missed a beat, tonight jumped in to drop the missus off half a mile away, got 3 hundred yards away then no power/accelerator ?

Crawled back home using no accelerator, on tickover, tried the car 20 mins later, all seems fine, didn't go out in it cos of. used to work with cars but things have changed, anyone help out please ?

Im guessing it uses an electronic throttle rather than a cable but ive seen a few of these where the brake pedal position switch starts to fail causing this issue. Ive also heard stories that failed brake light lamps can cause it too but this is usually accompanied by a management light coming on.
It may be worth seeing if any codes have been logged in the management system first, the brake pedal switch is less than £15 so isnt expensive.
