Hello as title will I need to use a primer or undercoat to hide the filler on the walls or will the grey cover it fine. I will be using a grey paint over pale pink but had to fill in big gaps between the sheets of wallpaper from where it was put up originally so a lot of it has been filled.

The walls are currently painted with matt pink, are slightly dirty and will be painted with matt grey, I was thinking to paint the whole room with one coat of matt white emulsion/undercoat then paint over it with the grey with one or two coats?

The grey I'm using is the one on the left in the picture

Thank you
