I have just fitted some knotty pine doors which are to be eventually painted. It wasn't until I had fitted them that I realised that a couple were slightly warped. In both cases, when the door touches the frame at the bottom, there is a 15mm gap at the top. Pulling the door onto the latch closes the gap and holds the door square. My question is, will the doors slowly straighten to fit if they are held closed on the latch for the majority of the time? One is a bathroom door, will the steamy atmosphere of the bathroom help in this.
