Can anyone help me with this drainage question. I want to relocate my bathroom to the other side of the house. Ideally I don't want to have to use a macerator incase it fails.
Only problem is, if I run a normal waste pipe between the floor joists I have this step to contend with.
If I somehow manage to fit 2x 30 degree bends in to drop the pipe down about a foot onto the lower landing level, is this going to create problems with the flow suddenly speeding up down the drop and solids getting jammed?
Thanks

That part won't cause problems - the length of the run is more likely to. I assume a WC included in the bathroom. Can you do a sketch plan with rough dimensions (y) and where you intend to terminate the pipe.

Worth noting that the max length run of 1.5" waste according to Building Regulations is 3 metres. You can go to 4 metres if you increase to 2"

dont run waste pipes through joists, along is fine. best solution would be to install drain outside to new bathroom postion.

I read this as the OP wanting to put a 4 inch soil pipe under the floor. I would be investigating how easy it would be to install a new soil stack on the other side of the house.
