Hi All.
I have researched this job intensively and struggle to get a definitive answer.
I'm not great with painting i will be honest and have struggled with getting the right finish. I want to move to water based satin painting of my doors window ledges and skirts as I have found in past that oil based ones remain slightly tacky. Now my problem is I have bought dulux trade undercoat which is an oil based product and without thinking I have painted the door and the skirting. I want to use the water based top coat trade paint which dulux have said can be used but will require a minimum of a week air time for the solvent to dissapate. What are peoples opinion on this? Should I do this? should I continue to undercoat the remaining doors and just let them air before painting a top coat?
Any help is appreciated
