I have just had new central heating fitted together with a new bath/shower room and WC. Everything was fine until I noticed a rumble through the cold feed pipes just as the WC reaches the top of its refill phase. This is the only time it happens and now I've heard it its driving me bonkers! Its not a violent hammering but still quite audible & I didn't have it before! So my questions are, 1)what is causing it & 2)if its fixable should I just get the plumber back or can I do it simply or maybe buy a dampener or similar to solve it.
I would appreciate any advice you can offer me, with thanks.
