Hi
Ive read previous posts on slate roofs but still feel a little unsure.
Could someone please tell me a cheap and easy way to waterproof the underside of my slate roof between the rafters?? Im looking at moving soon so just want something quick and simple i can do myself.

Thank you before hand to all that respond :)

You cant make a slate roof waterproof from inside the attic.

There was a spray system doing the rounds a few years back. They claimed to make a roof watertight from the inside using a spray on foam......I think it died a death in a very short time.

I agree with the above comment and if there were companies claiming otherwise I'd run a mile.

Stick to conventional roofing repair systems....ie a man, a ladder and a tile/slate.
:D

It should be waterproof unless damaged in which case it needs repairing.
