I have an electric shower - an Aquatronic W800 7 that has gone wrong (either too hot or too cold - so assume it's the thermostat). I need to replace it.
How do I know/choose which power/wattage shower to replace it with (9.5kW ..etc..?).

Thanks.

Apart from the power of the shower, it will depend on th size of cable that is supplying it, length of cable, fuse protecting it and the rating of the isolating switch. If you have a 7 or 8Kw shower at present then you need and electrician in to advise if you want to upgrade to 9.5Kw or higher,

Maybe changing this post to the electrics forum would yeild better results for you ;)

Cheers Dave. Did try and post on the 'Electrics' forum but didn't seem to come up. Cheers anyway...
