Good morning/evening

Hope someone can help, i have raked all the moss off my lawn but there are patches of deep rooted weeds (photo) which i would like to remove before seeding. Can anyone name them and if some roots are left will they just come up again?

Yep, thats oxalis. A real problem. I'd suggest flamegun every week until it stops growing, the roots having run out of puff.

I would recommend NOT using weedkiller, esp glyphosate (roundup etc). It is sold as a nice substance that is neutralised on contact with the soil. Denmark banned it in 2003 as it was found polluting the ground water. Obviously it was not neutralised. It has other nasty traits too.
