Hi, I'm a DIY dummy needing advice on repairing a folding shower door. The door folds into two halves and the halves are held together top and bottom by little plastic lugs on one half, which fit into the hollow frame of the other half (like an electric plug fitting into a powerpoint).

They were glued in but lost their stick. I've tried using superglue but it didn't last more than a month and I thought about sticking it with a glue gun until I realised that the glue would soften with hot water running around it.

I need something strong and sticky and wondered if No More Nails would be suitable for a shower. I also heard about something called Pinkgrip but was told this was instant sticking, which might not work because the lugs have to slide into position. Anyone have any reccomendations?

if your talking small size high load then no glue or adhesive will do
you will need a mechanical fix that may be a new part or somthing like a screw holding a pivot

the answer depends on situation loadings and materials
