Can I please have some pointers on what I should be looking for in LED strips for mood lighting - the type you put in at the edge of a suspended ceiling to give this nice soft glow effect. There seems to be so many options out there and I'm not sure what to look in terms of quality and function.
I will need approx 250m to 300m of the stuff to run around the edge of my all my rooms. Would like multi coloured option and the ability to dim it and control it via a home automation system.
What happens if any of the LEDs blow, I know they cannot be replaced but what happens if several go, can the stip be easily cut?
Finally what should I be looking to pay per metre for good multi coloured LED strips?
