Will the new bearing slide on easy onto the motor shaft or does it be equally hard to put the new ones on?

Bearings are usually meant to have a interference fit of just a couple of thousandths parts of an inch, so No it should not slide on easy.

Having said that, I put a bearing on a washing machine and it did slide on.
Had to 'doctor it' with centre punch marks to make it a better fit.

But it should not be hard either, should be able to tap it into position using washer, piece of tube and hammer.
