I was asked to fit an outside tap and change a light fitting. Fitted tap OK and then went to change the light fitting. The home owner told me that he had changed all the light fitting in the house when they moved in eight years ago. He was now to disabled to DIY. The fitting he wanted me to change was in the hall. He told me that every time they put in anew bulb it would blow.

He then asked me to look at one in the spare bedroom as this had stopped working.

I suggested that as two out of two fittings looked at were dangerous, he might like me to take a look at all of his fittings. Said I would charge him an extra £40.00 (cheap I know). He said that was too expensive. Told him to get a few quotes and then get me back.
