Hello!

I am trying to assemble something like this:

This is **not** a working pipe/valve, but purely used, say, as a coathanger or a lamp base.

I guess (?) the "T" part is something like a 3/4" X 1/2" X 3/4" BSP Unequal Tee-Galvanised fitting, which I can find.

However, what could that brass "handle" be? Can I find/buy such part? How would you call it? I was trying to google for something like BSP male brass drain/cock/stop/valve but without much success.

Again, it doesn't need to have a function, but it needs to fit in the 1/2'' BSP female thread of the Tee.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

It is called a crutch-head and looks like it is from a brass stop-cock, unscrewed from the stopcock body.

There's no reason why the thread should be 1/2" BSP, it is not made with the intention of connecting it to another fitting. It could be any random thread; you'd have to get a stop-cock and take it apart.

Yes, that was my "fear"... I was looking for something that would definitely fit.

In any case, would it be a matter of simply unscrewing the head, or would I need some tools to do that? (I'm not a plumber, obviously...)

It is a crutch-head headwork from a bibtap or stopcock, probably BS1010, probably (well, almost certainly) not a BSP thread.
Good luck!
