Hi!
We have a 2 year old Whirlpool 6th sense washing machine. (we live in Norway but I assume the basics are the same).
It started that the timer would show 1 minute of time left on the washing cycle but the machine would continue to slowly spin (as though it's just loosening the clothing after the regular spin cycle) and clicking like crazy as though something wasn't catching. If you shut if off and left it for a bit you would be able to open the door. The clothes were clean and spun.
My husband checked the filters and all was good. Did a reset of the machine according to the manual. Didn't help. A repair man did the same and found a coin in another area. He left and husband ran a load and it did the same thing. Repairman said it's probably the pump but we haven't called him back because we disagree. The washer functions work fine.
He said it was ok to continue using it. We had a good 2 load run and now the washer will not do anything but click when you turn it on. Lots of clicking like it's not catching.
Any idea?
