Moved into a new house and the UPVC windows were installed by monkeys.

Can't replace them (£) but a few need new handles and some of the windows have internal (between the 2 panes) condensation.

So are all UPVC handles universal? can I just by another from Wickes and fit it or are there certain types?

What can I do about the condensation?

Many thanks,

Dan

There are generally two types of pvc window handles called cockspur and espag. Most windows now are all espag locking as cockspur is 80's technology. Heres the two types.......

Cockspurs are usually held on with 4 screws, espags are 2 screws. Also its the spindle depth or length you need to watch out for if you have espags, take yours off and just measure the length of just buy the longest length ones and cut down with a hacksaw, other than that their all the same, including holes for fixing them
