Window Sill

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I am having a bedroom plastered and am a little uninspired as to what to do with the window sills.
The walls will be a burgundy type red/black with black venetian blinds.
Any ideas on what type of material and colour would be a match?

why not have the sill to match the architraves and skirting boards?
