Hi
I am in the planning stages for fitting a power shower. (not the high wattage electric one) . Just a few questions please.
I intend to run a spur off ring using 2.5m cable.

what is max cable length from spur allowed, mine will be about 8m.
I will use a RCD FCU, will I need to have a separate double pole switch as well.
Can cable be surface mounted in PVC trunking.

Thanks for any help

What type of circuit is it that you are spurring from, Is it ring or radial?
Is the socket you are taking the feed from already are spur?
Cable can be surface mounted!
You may find that you are limited to 3m

thanks for the replies. Spur is from the main ring not another spur.
cable only surface mounted to outside the bathroom and then will be chased and tiled over in the bathroom/shower cubicle.
