Hi, my husband replaced the diverted valve yesterday but now have a leak at the drain off that connects to the water inlet valve . It is on a Worcester 28 cdi combination boiler. He has tried orings but still
leaking.

can anyone suggest what he can try please to stop the leak. We have water off at moment cause leak is too much to keep water on.

Thanks in advance.

Drain off?, the only drain valves fitted to these are the 2 plastic white ones. Clean the muck of the seating in the manifold and the drain screw and add a smear of silicone grease

Thanks for replying. He's just popped out to get the silicone grease and then will dismantle to get to it all.

Fingers crossed this will solve the leak.... thanks

Thanks so much. He did as you suggested after having to pop out and buy the greese. No leak. So that problem solved thanks.

Still after replacing the diverter valve we thought it would fix our no hot water problem but it didn't. I have done another post for this....

many thank again.

No not a waste of time the diverter valve needed replacing, opened up and diaphragm was shot.... Just had to adjust the switch after reassembling.
