worcester 28i junior condensing combi boiler hot water fault

Hi

C/H is working fine .

When hot water is running after around 2min the boiler stops, flame goes out pump stops and boiler boils up . as if the power has been turned off but the blue power light never goes out.

Then all kicks back in after about 1min


I have changed the PCB , Diverter Valve , Pump , H/W temp senser.

I would imagine a suitably qualified heating engineer would be a good idea. Or you could keep throwing parts at it.

I have a good idea of what the problem is but its gas/combustion related and we cannot give advice to DIYers about those topics.

The only sensible thing is to get a gas reg engineer!

If its what I expect then the part required is only about £20.

I really dont understand why some people change expensive parts instead of calling a local RGI or even getting a fixed price repair from Worcester which would have been cheaper that buying all those parts!
