worcester bosch 28cdi problems

hi, i have one of these beauties and i appear to have 2 issues.
1 I can only get HW to come through the taps with a reduced rate of flow, (barely open taps).
2 rads come on when i call for hot water from the taps.

I suspect diverter valve.....
It is an easy job to replace or repair it?

sounds like the DV and its a **** of a job. Replace not repair too.

worcester fixed price repair could be of help.

if they still do that sort of repair,that is.

I had one changed a few years ago and engineer could not stop it leaking water.
It took the unlucky chap 5 hours over 2 visits,lots of tea,jaffa cakes and a few plasters.
The main problem was the incomming water pipe where it slides into an inlet valve,the o ring had previously leaked and corrosion had welded this connection together.after a struggle he got it apart but the soft copper pipe was out of shape and leaked like a sieve when refilling.
So he had to change that pipe and the valve.
Other water leaks but he sorted them out as they leaked.

He said they do not normally take so long although he has heard of many similar experiences.
