Wonder if you could help me, just moved into a new place with the above boiler. When the central heating is on, the guage is at 3, when the literature says it should be at 2.5. The boiler makes a bit of a racket for the first few minutes then it is fine, hot water alone is no problem.
I had to turn the water supply off when I first moved in (a leak with the outside tap with no valve!!), after that I started noticing the noise.
Should I decrease the pressure in the system by letting a little water out of the central heating? Or call an expert?
