2 weeks ago I had the above mentioned installed.
The boiler losses pressure from the correct setting of 1.75bar on the gauge down to below 1 bar over a period of 3 - 4 days.
I did have an initial leakage on plastic piping (which distributes under the ground) at the joints which were tightened and that seemed successful. However the pressure drop remains. The installer is convinced that the under floor piping is to blame although there is no real evidence and wants to cut out this supply by dropping new piping from bedrooms etc to the ground floor.
This is going to spoil decoration and aesthetics,not to mention an estimate of £700, as at present I have all piping hidden.
Did/does plastic piping come in 3 metre lengths or on a continuous roll feed.
Would it be worth removing skirtings to get access to check joints before going down the replacement route?
