I wouldn't call $39 free, and that's just the yearly subscription. The copy you get for free doesn't recognise most of the formats regularly used, thus I'd need to pay for it.

Really??? I've got it for free and their website says:

This utility is 100% freeware and uses only freeware software.

Pretty sure the download location states its free also: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Encoders-Converter-DIVX-Related/Avi2Dvd.shtml

Maybe I clicked on the wrong thing, but it said when download, this isn't the full version of this software and took me to a subscription page.

I've already got the other recommended and it's very quick and easy to use.

Definitely the wrong thing, must have clicked an advert. I posted because my one was free, and doesn't come with watermarks.
