I've got a working Yale 6400 system in the house and it all works fine. I've recently added a door contact to my kennel. The registration all works fine but the walk test never picks up the door opening.
I've installed the sensor and magnet on the inside of the kennel, the magnet on the steel cage door and the sensor on the steel rim which holds the bars in place. Is this perhaps the cause of the problem? The panel is only about 12m away through one external wall/window. The light comes on fine when the door opens but no audible ping on the walk test (all other devices testing out ok).
Anyone got any ideas or possible solutions?
