hi all
i need to replace a leaking asbestos cement garage roof (removing the asbestos is not a problem as im an asbestos surveyor).
whats the best material to put in its place? its a single garage.

depends on the pitch of the roof the size and spacings of the trusses.
if its metal purlins it may be worthwhile removing them and making your own profiles.
if it cant be tiled or slated this stuff seems to be the material of choice at the moment. |

its virtually a flat roof will only minimal fall from front to back. its a standard size for a single garage, the existing roof is held in place by metal bolts which are attached to 3 timber supports. |
