Hi, Our house has an old Concept 6 intruder alarm system, fitted 1995. We are not the original house owners, so do not know how it was fitted. We are having lots of problems with it and never use it so would like to power it off - but how???? Cannot find where the main CPU is fitted. Is there any way to trace it? The company that fitted it have gone out of business?
Thanks

Can't find it, how big is your house?

Airing cupboard, (should not be in there, but it happens), loft, cellar, larder, hall behind the coats, garage, wardrobe?

Correct, cannot find it. We have lived here for 7 years on and off. Rented the property out, therefore emptied everywhere. Only place we have not checked is under the loft insulation or under floorboards? I am presuming it looks like a fuse box?

Some installers do the strangest things. We once did a takeover and found the control panel beneath the bathroom floorboards, and I'm not kidding. Follow the wiring to any door contacts, if it goes up into the ceiling then it's worth a check around.
