I download master socket manual from net and they showing connection to be made in (IN - OUT) place and pull out two resistors marked (al),is that right? .And do line need to have filter to not interfere with broadband? Thanks.

are you wanting the panel to take control of the line if it dials out? or just to have it connected to the line and be able to use it?

I like panel to take control if possible, in case of busy signal.

You need to take the incoming line from the secondary side of the master socket to a and b on the galaxy panel and then out of a1 and b1 to the first device in your telephone system .

Remember your filters tho.

The galaxy panel cuts off the a1 an b1 terminals when it dials out an "grabs the line "

You'd be better off with a GPRS dialler incase your phone lines get cut and then you get burgled .
Are you trying to use the g2 as a speech dialler y any chance ?

I need G2 only send text message if alarm activated .
Thanks.

yea that looks about right.

do you have the full manual for the g2 series? youll have to change the outputs to only send unconfirmed intruder (3) and confirmed(7)

the text service isnt particlary reliable tho .
good luck

My manual is 5 page .
Thanks a lot for explaining .

Your manual is 5 pages. Your working inside the panel ?

Pleased all my jobs are eng reset on tamper .
With remote reset and upload download !

That is NOT the manual, it's a Quick Start Guide.

Depending on the version, an installation/programming manual for your panel is somewhere between 118 & 122 pages.

And the answer to the question you are about to ask, I'm sorry no.

To be honest the galaxy isn't really a DIY panel .

I would strongly recommend having a professional company program it up for you .

Are you using a prox keypad ? Or wanton to use a code for your set and unset ?

I gonna use :
ADE Honeywell Galaxy MK7 LCD Keypad CP038
I see when wire everything what problems gonna be.

Just remember to use the correct type of cable for you data line .

Well with an approx. 113 page difference between 'The Manual' & your Quick Start Guide you're going to have fun.

Time to get the Guinness & Paracetamol out I'm afraid.

Best you spend time searching for a Manual, you'll never programme it without.

"use the correct type of cable for you data line"

There's the first problem, got any? It's not mentioned in your 'manual'

The Galaxy is NOT a DiY panel.

I'm just waiting for him to ask why he can't unset using his code .
That's not exactly in a user menu and deffinatly not in the quick start guide .

*opens quick start to see what it does tell you

To the OP. have fun and good luck , you'll need it
