Hi all,

Just out of interest, if someone from Openreach were to come round and replace this broken junction box with a new one, and affix it to the underside of the window sill, which junction box would they replace it with?

Something like a BT77A perhaps?

Thanks :)

possibly an 80A if that drop wire won't play nicely with IDC connection.

What I'd do would be to bring the drop wire through the wall below the window and have an NTE mounted flush into the wall (they fit standard electrical back boxes).

Cheers. There's not enough drop wire to play around with to be able to move it, but fortunately there is already a hole drilled in the sill to poke through to underneath.
