Problems with turning off entry/exit countdown on Yale alarm

Hi, can any one help? I've had the Yale 6400 alarm for some years now but recently I got an exclamation mark light on the CPU which, after having changed batteries here and there plus on the outside alarm itself I eventually was able to get the exclamation light to go out. However, I now seem not to be able to turn off the entry/exit time in/out sounds even after selecting 'off' on both and confirming it. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Hi, thanks for that. I've since been through the DVD disc which I got with it and eventually realised (I think) that I wasn't moving the v down to actually represent it being switched 'off'. I'll be testing it at some point later.

I'd just like to know if I can sue Yale under the trades descriptions act for calling the HSA6400 easy......EASY..... to set up!

Easy is a relative term, its easy compared to something else.

be difficult I imagine to sue unless lots of people struggled to install, and said it was easy diy.

Q. Why is ADT seen as the be all and end all of alarm service providers?

There are numerous other companies out there.

I'd take a 6400 fitted over a professional ADT fix - what a show they are!!

Becareful what you wish for.......

Use smaller local companies than ADT - thats where you learn your trade and make the errors Anyone worth their onions will start up on their own after serving term with ADT!
