Not without serious expense.
It is not designed as wireless, however Texecom do a 8 zone module you can add to but it is the peripherals that add to the cost.
Another made for wireless could be cheaper.
Avoid DIY tat as it is not worth the box it is in.

can you recommend a wired panel that we can add wireless window contacts to at a later date?
wont need the wireless window contacts till next year.

got this being installed on Saturday but could change the panel before then.

Well you need one with more than 8 zones.

Get a new quote, get 3 in fact. As I assume someone else is supplying form your wording.

nope i am providing everything he is just charging £150 to wire it all up.
going to order all the equipment tonight.

Inexperience showing here mad41, take your foot out of your mouth.

£150 A bit steep if you ask me. is he hiding all the cabling?

When I say wire it all up I mean there is gonna be a big pile of alarm equipment on the living room table and he is gonna fit everything, bell boxs, pirs, door contacts, he said he would hide wires yes under floorboards. I thought £150 sounded ok :D

You can add wireless devices after but you are only left with 1 spare zone on the panel.
You can get a Risco nova 4 wireless receiver that can work with riscos wireless detectors, I have just fitted one to my system i have 2 wireless devices on seperate circuits. you can connect 4 wireless devices on each zone & there are 4 zones. However you would only be able to use 1 zone.

The receiver can tell you what transmitter activated by using its LED memory. Very easy to add on at a later date. :D

hi guys one more question please
texecom r8.
we are having pirs put in the living room, hall, kitchen, laundry and landing.
is there any way that we can have 2 setings?
e.g arming the alarm with all pirs Except the kitchen pir for every day use?
and arming all Pirs INCLUDING kitchen one for when we are on holiday?
if so is this easy to do?
