Bosch exxcel 1200 express not working

My Bosch exxcel 1200 express, which is about 4 years old has stopped working and the drum is full of water. It neither spins nor drains but you can hear it clicking through it's cycle. I managed to get the sodden washing out by switching the machine off but if it is a problem with the brushes, how can I drain the machine? (we had to replace the brushes once before) Or could it be something else?
I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks

If its not draining then you need to check the drain pump impellor isnt jammed with something or that the drain hose is clear it wont be the motor as it wont spin unless its drained. to remove the water tilt appliance back slightly and remove filter but place a bucket under the filter first.
