Hotpoint Aquarius WT540 not working

Hi Can anyone help?
Our hotpoint wt540 has stopped working, its been playing up for a few washes but now will not start at all. I've tried un plugging for over 10 mins to allow the pcb board to reset but I just get the wash light permanently on when I try to start a program.

Any ideas

Yes , you tube shows you how. Parts about a tenner or cheaper.

Thanks again, I've removed the motor & cleaned the contacts, the brushes do look like they on there last legs. It's e got the machine working again, any idea of the part number for the brushes? Or a website where I can buy them from?

There's loads in google. eBay / espares / part master etc. Look for the cheapest.
