Hi all, I have a fault on a hotpoint wml520 washing machine. The very top light is flashing amber. The machine allows water in, the pumps it out but the continuously keeps weeerring away without actually doing anything.. I've tried cleaning the filter, switching the machine on and off, and I've checked the heater element and they are all fine so I'm now presuming its a circuit board fault?!?
Any clues would be appreciated
Thanks

Thanks for the reply...
The drum isn't turning, it just sounds like the drain out pump
Is chugging away. Checked the brushes, they are good and the belt is like brand new. The machine is probably only 2 years old and had any easy life( only me and the mrs clothes to wash) so I don't think it is the motor..
Thanks for any help

actually you could check the pressure swith and the tube is not blocked. think its on top of the washing machine.
