Lamona HJA 8704 Integrated Washer Dryer -Broken start button

Hi,

I have the Lamona HJA 8704 Integrated Washer Dryer, and the start button has now got stuck inside so can't get it out and therefore the washing machine doesn't start.

Naturally this has happened after the guarantee has run out!

I was thinking of trying to prize it out but want to check if there is a better or tried and trusted way first.

Have exactly the same problem. Now the machine won't work. Just a flashing red button on the stop sign. Can't get it to start, what did you do?

This is a re-badged Candy machine. Take off the control panel & check the button cluster for damage, you may be lucky & find that the button is just jammed.

Hi,

I got someone in to fix it, they had to open the top of it, take out the old panel and replace it then close the top again.

he said this was a common fault on this model.

If you don't want to pay someone to do it, and you are confident about changing the panel then you can buy a new control panel and replace it yourself

The spare part listed by zipper is the button cluster unit but excludes the electronic PCB console unit.

The op posted because of a broken button on the user interface...not a pcb issue.

Can i ask how easy it is to fit a cluster unit.....?
