Hello,
I unfortunately know nothing about cars so would appreciate some help.

We have a Vauxhall Zafira its around 8yrs old and only done 40k approx.

Anyhow I have noticed that when moving off from a still position the clutch pedal sticks slightly. There is a small vibration that can be felt on the accelerator at the same time. When moving through the gears it seems to be ok.

Any ideas?

Thanks

is it slipping?
or it might be as simple as spraying the area with some silicone spray.

Thanks gregers,

It's confession time, the car is primarily used by my wife. She's the one that advised me of the fault in the first place. I spent a little time trying to figure out what it was without success and that's why I posted here. Anyhow I was driving the car yesterday and it started happening again. Then I realised that when the clutch pedal was pressed down fully. The back of the pedal would catch on the foot mat.

Sorry for wasting your time. I feel like a complete div.
