vw audi G12 antifreeze

hi guys ive already started to prepare our household cars for winter in which on of them is a seat Ibiza, this car uses G 12 antifreeze which is red in colour.
is the g12 the same a long life red antifreeze, what is g12 made from can it be mixed with standard red longlife

anyone one know what colour g12 should be our car has red in it but ive looked on ebay and found g12 to be lilac and long life is red ours has red in it so the burning question would be does g12 come in red or has our car got just longlife red in it.

its supposed to be a long life coolant, personally i would look for the red g12 as it is readily available. It wont be that expensive at a main dealer, either that or drain, flush and refill with another red product.

G12 and G12+ can be mixed together, but G12 shouldn't be mixed with the earlier G11 stuff which is glycol based.
Top with G12+ stuff to be on the safe side.....compatibility should be marked on the bottle.
If you are flushing and then replacing, the red substitution is fine.
