yesterday ( see my post about the extension) The building control guy came to mesur eboth gardens after receiveing a complaint we were building an extension. So today we got the ok and not to worry abou the complaint but they mentionned tha twe build a 2 metres fenc eat the fron and we are only allowed 1 metre. ( we build 1 metre wall and at the top a 1 metre dence just in case we would have problems). Anyway it's been 5 years. The latest google map is 2009 but the 2007 version is not 3 d and we can guess the garden but not very well. i hope it is ok. So basically because it's been 5 years they cannot ask us to remove one meter? and now i am being cheeky but can i replace the 1 metre fence at the top by a wall?
