Building a garage with extras.

Im still in the thinking stages of what to build at the side of my house. I was looking down there at the weekend and had a thought.

I want to build a garage, and a carport area, but also in the back garden I want a gazebo type area. Now my old dear have got a shed with a balcony type area in their garden so it spawned me onto thinking about something like the following.

Now what I am unsure about is whether if I built a garage of 30m2 maximum, whether I would be able to add a "carport" to either end of the garage, a would be for a car and b would be on the patio area at the rea of the house.

Would this comewithin the PD rights. The over all structure would meet the garden size requirements etc for PD just unsure whether the carport would be counted as the garage size or seperate.

look along the lines of not having either end connected to the garage (free standing) as ISTR that having them connected to the house includes them and what your proposing goes beyond pd AFAIK.
