Afternoon all

Have a client I'm doing the Building Regs drawings for, therefore will be doing a drainage layout but I'm a bit stumped (the house is a 1950's detached bungalow on a cul-de-sac).

Been to the house and can't find any MH's whatsoever, not one on site at all. All the drainage is at one side of the house, there's cross falls on the site also so it's fairly obvious where the MH 'should be' but can't see anything at all.

Been onto the local water authority (Yorks Water) and they only have record of the main combined sewer on the road to the frontage of the property.

Only suggestion I've had is put a camera down to locate the runs or check the title deeds as they may have a plan with drainage runs shown?

Any ideas at all here? I'm struggling

Assuming nothing can be gleaned from looking down any existing gullies etc etc either the client gets his spade out to find out some directions/ inverts or employs a builder to do so. Otherwise get client to employ a drain surveyor to find them.

Otherwise sort drainage after the builder starts on site and get the appointed builder to do the investigation making client aware of all the possible risks/potential problems in going this route.

Thanks for that freddy, always good to get a second opinion.
