Hello,
I am after advice on how you get a fireplace removed from a house, I wish to keep the actual brest but currently have a huge fireplace that takes up more space that I can afford to loose. Do I need a structual engineer to take a look first before I get a builder in to remove it all or can you just remove it. Looking at my ceiling I think there is a Lint running right the fireplace and into next door!! only say that as they have the same shape next door too. what would a rough price be for this sorta job, I know I havent given much detail on size etc or a picture but any help would be great.
Cheers
