Health and safety / notifiable advise

Hi, I'm told my build is notifiable as its being sold on and the labc advised contacting the HSE etc.
He advised I need a few things in place to cover myself, toilet for the builders, cover incase they injure themselves etc. Does anyone have experience of this on a small build? Any costs? Any advise appreciated.
