Hi,

I am building a false wall in a alcove for my TV to sit in and was wondering if better to fit the feather edge/join horizontal or vertical. I read somewhere that horizontal is good.

cheers

1. p/b on studding is almost always fixed horizontal.

2. for an alcove you should only have inside and outside corner joins.

3. attempt to fit one piece sections of p/b. your alcove might require one piece rear wall and two one piece cheeks fitted vertically if over 1200mm high.
