Hi folks,

Been up on the roof to measure up for capping a chimney, and the stack has a recess as opposed to a pot sticking out. How would I can this? Would it need to push down into the recess?

I would bed a slab over it.

When you cap off a chimney you must put a couple of air bricks in stack.
On opposite sides ideally.

Or leave it like the other 80,000,000 out there.
