Help
I have had to replace some seriously rusted cast iron guttering and rotten facia board on a slate roofed garage. In the process nearly all of the bottom course of slates just crumbled away and the roof now seriously leaks.
On examination it looks like the bottom 2 courses of slates will need replacing along the entire 5 metre lenghth of roof.
I want to do this job myself but want to do it properly. It looks relatively simple if someone can point me in the right direction or perhaps recomend a good BOOK that explains it in adequate detail. I am an experienced DIYer but not done slating before.... Help.....
