replacing prefab garage for themolite on slab

I have a concrete sectional garage with metal roof sitting on a concrete slab. Now these panels weigh about 3.5t m3, thernmolites way 600kg m3.

Do you think it is at all feasible for me to build a new garage out of thermolites off the existing slab.

Now I know none of this is ideal but I have my reasons for doing this and it is not for anybodies benefit other than mine. Basicly we are having another baby and I am therefore extending my existing office into a double bedroom. This leaves me short of an office. Now I can build a thermolite garage/office in about 2 weeks for approx £1000, removing existing slab and then doing footings and new slab doubles all this hence why I want to build off the slab. This gets me my little office sorted so I can crack on with the extention. I only need this office for a few years we plan on moving in 5 so I maybe tempted to get rid then as I can give this patch to the garden or what ever, not interested in it adding value or a selling point.

So please chip in with oppinions

Or you could simply modify the prefab garage into an office!
I've fitted out a metal container for both site office and meeting room, a prefabbed garage should be a doddle...pinenot

Yeah I was going to mod it the trouble is it only has a head height of 2m and once I add a layer inch king on the floor topped with chip flooring and a layer of insu board on the ceiling I am rubbing my head on it.

Main reason for the rebuild being appealing is it is similar in price as modding yet more usable. Is there a big gamble with the light weight blocks or do you think they will see me through

The only consideration would be the render you use, but with excess you gain that 's not a problem...pinenot

Water ingress under the blocks could cause problems, so you will need to be creative with dpm/dpc, particularly at the door.
Don't forget your pillars and strap the roof down.
