Hi.

I have just removed and re-laid new curb stones and now need to repair the Tarmac.

It is about 3m long by 150mm wide. I have concreted both sides of the curbs so the Tarmac will be laid onto flat concrete which is about 60mm below finished level.

What is the best way for me to finish this small area.

Thanks.

Use cold applied bagged repair mac.

It takes a while to go off but it does a fair job once compacted in.

Hi noseall.

I was planning on using that, but wasn't sure of the exact way of laying it.

What depth should it be and what do I need to use to compact it.

Cheers.

You want a minimum of 20mm.

Any flat hard metal object will do to compact.

Belt and braces approach would be to prime the edges of the existing tarmac with a bitumen based sealer.
