Hi. Due to very poor water pressure I was keen to replace the water

supply pipe My local water board has agreed it will replace its pipe and

make a new connection under the lead replacement scheme. The distance

from where the new blue pipe will come out of the floor inside the flat and

where it will connect with the existing pipework will be some 10m of

pipework. What I need someone to advise me on, is as all the existing

pipework is in 15mm copper, will running the 10metres connection in 1/2in

rather than 3/4 inch will make any appreciable difference. Appreciate any
advise

When I had mine done a few years ago they simply fitted a standard stop cock with 15mm coming off that and connecting to the existing pipework which was about 5 metres away from the old incomer. (Whatever they do it will be in 15mm or 22mm not 1/2" or 3/4" size pipe. Too much messing to combine them both)

adding one reducer wont be a problem , it,s just whether i,ll get a better flow with 22mm pipe
