I want to add a bit of protection to my single wall garage around the perimeter where it sits on the concrete slab.

I've got some Thompsons and I've just applied 2 drench coats, but I also have some Black Jack.

Does this work on concrete & blocks?

Once dry I will overcoat with Sandtex. Can I add more fine sand to the Sandtex to aid hole filling?

Your waterproofing efforts may be in vain. Surface waterproofers are just that and don't allow for any thermal movement issues and will likely result in water ingress once the winter arrives.

I'd be thinking of something more permanent like a design change or chasing in an dressing a flashing over the slab toe.

Fill all large holes with mortar prior to painting with exterior textured paint.
