what lintel do i need concrete or catnic

can i use a three metre concrete lintel for myy extension 0ver patio doors that measure 2600 wide .two course of blocks in and outer with roof coming down on a thirty five degree pitch rendered on the outside

Probably not.

Even if you could, how are you going to lift a 3m concrete lintel into place...it'd weight a ton!

Use a Catnic or steel beam.
 
Er no.

A standard duty catnic type will not do either. You will likely need to buy a heavy duty (HD) lintel as we have just built an extension with an opening of the exact same dimension.

Make sure you allow the BCO to see the sticker on the lintel confirming its heavy duty status before bricking it in. The lintel will be a 3 course fella so bear this in mind when setting out the wall plate etc.

Possibly. Depends on cavity width, roof covering. Slates, concrete interlocking tiles, plain clay tiles or concrete plain tiles and approx length of rafters or depth of extension, and we will work out rafter length ourselves.
